Alessandro Maestri back in NPB, Mister Baseball

After starting the season with the farm team, Italian right-hander Alessandro Maestri is back in Nippon Professional Baseball. He got promoted by the ORIX Buffaloes and already got into a game, pitching an inning of scoreless relief.

Dutch right-hander Rick Van den Hurk is still working his way back with the Fukuoka Softbank Hawks after an injury early in Spring Training.
